I know that I bring most of the holiday stress on myself. If I shopped during the year, if I kept my house cleaner to begin with, etc. That being acknowledged, I'm taking a break from my travel preparations to write this post.
15 1/2 hours is an awful long drive to be Anna's first road trip. Eli's was a 2 hour long trip from DC to Richmond (which turned into a 4 hour trip due to traffic) and he cried nearly the whole way! He was three months older too! So I'm more than a little apprehensive about Anna and this road trip. I'm taking my pump and we have a podie, so hopefully those will make it so we don't have to stop for as long. Anna and I might suffer from separation anxiety but hopefully we'll get to our destination quicker :)
Preparations are slow going. Eli's been as patient as he can, and I've been as patient as possible with his tantrums (not very since I'm stressed about getting ready).
I'm just hoping we get everything done before we leave and that I am able to relax during the drive.
Oh, please pray that our radio speakers will somehow miraculously work during the trip :)

Oh good luck Carrie! A road trip with two kids doesn't sound fun at all. We lucked out with Grant who LOVES to be in the car, we'll see with this next one. I hope all goes smoothly! Have fun, and Merry Christmas! Love you guys!
Good luck! Let me know how it goes. I really want to run out to Utah but just don't know how that will work with a tiny baby:(
It's hard, but you will build strong parental muscles that come with challenging road trips or anthing for that matter-tantrums build patience too. Hope you had a fun trip and things went Great. Missed you guys at Christmas!
