This week has been full of them even if they are minor in comparison to the greater scheme of life.
You already know about the down and up of our car situation. Here's how the rest of the week went.
Down: the car rental place never showed up to get me. Apparently they don't know how to dial an out of town number since they got a pager instead :(
Up: My wonderful friend, Christy, was able to take me to get the rental on Wednesday.
Up: I found some cute clothes for Eli at the thrift store.
Up: I got a much needed bookcase that fit EVERY aspect Aaron and I wanted.
Down: The bookcase was damaged in shipping and I am sending it back.
Down: Eli has been one for tantrums this week and screamed in EVERY store I took him to. Sometimes I wonder if having your groceries delivered would be worth it.
Up: My ward mission companion and I got to talk to a couple people and I'm just happy we got a hold of someone.
Up: Eli makes me feel so good when he comes up to me and hugs my legs ;)
Up: I finally finished the box for the scrap book I made (documentation to follow in a few days)
Down: We found out that Six Flags isn't open the Friday that my sis and brother-in-law are visiting. It's open that Saturday, but we already have unchangeable tickets to Wicked.
Up: In looking at other things to do instead of Six Flags, I found Sewerd Street Slides. Even if we don't seek them out when my sis is here, I want to try them sometime. How random!
Up: We got to go on a short tour of Pixar on Friday. We have a friend who works there. We also got to see John Lasseter! How fantastic is that?!!!
Down: Our camera's battery died Friday morning and I forgot where I put the charger. our back-up camera was also out of batteries with no replacements. SO--- no pictures at Pixar :(
Down: Some guy ruined my workout by forgetting his entry card to the gym (I had to get off the tread mill to let him in) and then he spent the whole time on his cell phone. He didn't even work out. "You could do that outside. It's not cold out there". Next time I'm just going to turn up my MP3 volume (okay probably not).
Up: I had a friend tell me about this awesome bread that I'm dying to try.
Up: Aaron made the tacos he had growing up and I think I'm addicted! Thanks Sweetie!
Up: Who can have too bad a day when you have these two boys to love and who love you? Even if they're getting on your nerves, just wait until they're a sleep and it's heaven!
I think, if I've counted correctly, that my UPS outnumber my downs. Well, I guess that foxy Robin Hood won't have to come save my day ;)

One of your downs you have is still an up in my opinion...if you haven't seen Wicked, it's WAY better than any day spent at six flags! You will LOVE it! :)
I'm so jealous of your tour of Pixar. How awesome! Maybe you'll just have to go again sometime when your camera batteries are charged. :)
I was just telling Garrett the other day that no matter how bad of a day I have he and Grant always make my day even if Grant is in a bad mood. I'm glad your ups outnumbered the downs this past week. Miss you and love you!!
As soon as i started reading your blog, I started to sing that song from Robin Hood...I love that you did too!! LOL!
A tour of Pixar sounds like SO much fun! And the fact that you got to see the great John Lasater is just amazing!!
Enjoy Wicked! You will love it!! It is by far one of the best shows I have seen!
