Oh, the joys of moving! I feel like we've packed a ton, but still haven't made a dent. Our stuff doubled when Eli came I swear! Mean while the house is being turned into a complete disaster! Why is moving so messy? I also hate looking at things and thinking, "what if we need this before we move, do I really want to box it up now?"
There are some pluses though, it's a great dejunker. With this big move, especially, Aaron and I have gone through our old college text books and finally got rid of some. That is a sickening decision though. You spend $100 or so on a book and then they won't buy it back. So you keep it hoping that someone will want it, but end up giving it away. Aaron has been more successful at selling his books than I have though.
We also get to "pay it forward" in a way. When we moved out here, we were given a lot of furniture items from ward members. Now that we are moving so far away, we are able to give them to someone else in the ward who needs them.
Anyway, as a spin off of Dori in Finding Nemo, I guess we have to just keep packing in order to get done. Hopefully it's soon.

packing is the worst, but then you have to unpack. I am sure you guys are pros at this. Can't even imagine moving across country twice. Crazy!! don't know how you guys do it. Good luck. WE are excited to see you guys in a few weeks and that cute little Eli. Elise keeps talking about him!
Good luck w/ that! I totally know those feelings too! Hopefully it will be a smooth transition though
It's so true - moving allows you to sort through all of your clutter and be generous at the same time. Hope you guys have a safe move!
