We Weren't Born to Fail

Every time I feel alone, stressed, or misunderstood and thinking that there is no way I'm coming out of a situation alive, I always have to remind myself that I wasn't born to fail.

Heavenly Father did not send me here to fail this mortal existence. He gave me things along the way to help not only spiritually but mentally and physically.

When I was in school, my internship, and before I took the RD exam I wasn't meant to fail. the people teaching, writing the material and the exams were not just doing it as a sick joke to laugh at when I failed. They did it to help me succeed.

I am not meant to be a lonely outcast, far away from family and friends. So moving should not be the end of the world... I'll make new friends and technology has made it easier than ever to keep the old ones.

I am not meant to fail as a wife and mother. Nor as a person.

I am so grateful for repentance that makes it possible to succeed in a world of mistakes and blessings that help us overcome our weaknesses. Moses had Aaron as a mouth piece to talk to Pharoah, Samuel had the high priest Eli to tell him it was the Lord speaking, and I have a host of guideposts showing me the way to success.

I agree we aren't here to fail. I hope it is a better day for you today. Sounds like you had one of those days.

I think you are such a good mommy. I know I feel like I fall so short of mommy hood all the time.

We are excited to see you guys in a few weeks!!

I am so glad you posted that- what a great motto to live by! I will definitely start keeping that in the back of my mind too! In the meantime, good luck on your test and with moving!!!

We're not meant to fail but moving can be a definite refiner's fire. This move to Wisconsin (more so my new calling) is going to be one of the bigger growing experiences of my life so far. Have fun and enjoy your new home!
