This picture gives a good idea about Eli. Happy BUT you can see the mischievousness in his eyes. Wow, oh wow, our boy Eli (sorry, no to date pic updates). He has a mind of his own!
First off, his new stats. 18 lbs 10.5 oz and 30.5 inches long! Tall and lean. In fact, a little too lean for my liking. He's also a little anemic. So he's on Iron Supplements and we are also trying to get this child to sit still longer so he'll eat more!
He is still as cute as ever and over all a happy baby! He has the biggest smiles in the morning and LOVES to come into bed with Mommy and Daddy. Really he loves being on any soft furniture. He crawls around, buries his head in the cushions, bites them, and yells. I don't know what his thing is with biting, but there it is. He does have a temper that can rival his good spirits though. He lets you know he's not happy. He scolds and throws his binkies, he smacks and tries to bite. I sure do have my work cut out for me and sometimes it's hard to scold him when I'm too busy trying not to laugh at his antics.
He is VERY close to walking. Okay so I don't know how close this is to actual walking, but he's at the stage where he'll hold onto Aaron and my hands and step along. It's so cute and hilarious. Then again, it's slow going and hard on my back when all he wants to do is walk along. I'm loving this stage! He plays peak-a-boo by himself with a blanket. I'm trying to get him to play it with his hands but he often will put his hands on his head or over his ears or some combination of the two instead of over his eyes. It's pretty funny. He'll give 5 but so far only to Aaron and me.
He doesn't say any real words (maybe Dada) which worries me a little. I shouldn't be worried though. He talks enough, it's just his own language.
He is also a HUGE flirt! He puts on a show for the crowd I swear. Everyone says, "I haven't heard him cry once." That is such a ruse! I'm okay with that though. I'd rather Eli be better around others because then they won't mind babysitting ;)
That's Eli, our sweet heart with an attitude! I hope I can do this mother thing now that disciplining is starting to come into play. It's so much easier when all you have to worry about is loving them. Disciplining is when it get's hard, I think.

I think Haylee and Eli will get along great. She screams too and will throw things. It is funny at times-or I Just find myself laughing histarially so I won't go crazy and cry.lol:) Elise is now my Angel child.
We are so excited to see little Eli. He does have that look in his eyes . . . what will he do next?
