First, before we left I was able to get Eli all jazzed about the Christmas tree.

Babies and lights... it's mesmerizing.
Eli LOVES LOVES LOVES his family! He's been the happiest baby ever since we arrived. I don't know what he's going to do when we're back in Maryland, just the three of us again. He's met all of his aunts, uncles, and cousins on my side of the family and this week he'll meet all of Aaron's siblings and cousins on that side! We are so excited to show him off. He's the cutest baby ever so how could we resist ;)
Lynsie got married on Dec 20th. Aaron and I hadn't been to the temple since Eli was born. It was so good to enter that sacred building and see one of my best friends partake of the blessings I hold so dear to my heart. I didn't think I was one to cry at weddings, but I was wrong. Anyway, now Mike is officially a part of the family and we love it!
Eli got to meet his great grandparents Taylor when we went to Provo for Christmas Eve dinner. It was so much fun. Grandpa did a fun game where we had to draw a picture while the paper (on a book) was on top of our head. Some of Aaron's family are very talented at drawing without eyes. Unfortunately a squirmy baby made me have to give up after the first item (a christmas tree). It was fun though.
Christmas is always fun! I didn't wrap any of Eli's gifts. Wrapping is not my favorite thing and Eli doesn't know the difference! Aaron and I knew the basics of what we were getting from each other but we both managed to sneak something in there that was a surprise (both were books actually). My dad got Eli a bunch of toys and a very cute camouflage onsie so I could make my child "disappear" when we where's it. My mom also got Eli some very very cute clothes.
Lots more has happened but I think I'll wait until I get to upload pictures and such before I bore you all with more. BUT for your entertainment here's the some of the latest pictures we've uploaded to our computer...

The things you'll do to keep a baby happy while you're trying to accomplish something!

I am glad you guys are having a good time visiting family. I can't wait for more pictures, but I love the ones you have posted so far. The last picture is cute but you also feel sad for him. What a cute boy.
I'm commenting on your blog too even though you are only 20 minutes away at the moment, so we're even. I will e-mail you the pictures that we took of you guys with Lynsie & Mike at the wedding, I will try to do that tonight, but I can't guarantee anything. Thanks for letting me hog Eli everytime I'm at mom & dad's I enjoy holding him, he is so mellow and fun to hold. He is SOOOO ADORABLE TOO!!! I'm so glad you guys are here visiting, I will be sad when you leave.
I am glad to hear that you had a wonderful Christmas. I love to hear what you are up to and I am glad that you got to come visit family. Have a happy new year!
Eli is VERY cute. I am glad you guys can visit for a short time, but it probably seems like a Very long time to you. I can't imagine being away from my home for longer than a week or so:)
You are Such a good mommy...love the lips those little babies can pull on their mommmies-Too cute.
hahahaha!!!!So cute, and yet, I can see what you mean about not wanting to see it. That is a classic, super cute pout look!!! Hang in there, I'm sure you're doing great!
So, I most definitely am missing that adorable little boy and am thinking that I really should have kidnapped him. I miss him so so so much! Also...just wanted to point out that he is no longer nameless! I'm sorry I left him nameless. I didn't mean to. But I think that I'm going to make that face because my Eli isn't here to smile at me! Give him a huge hug and a kiss from his Aunt Lynsie and tickle and make him smile from his Uncle Mike!
