Things are moving along a lot faster than I would expect and I can't decide whether it's a good thing or not. My internship is already in it's third week. I'd be half done with my community rotation! I'm just getting started with this one. It's going fast and I'm a little worried about getting everything done. It's going to be busy but really fun. They are letting me in on the new food service that is being implemented next month. Wow, there is a lot of work.
Other things in life. Our mouse refuses to get caught. How many glue traps and regular traps can we put out while still being able to use the kitchen? We are seriously getting to the point where poison might be the only way to go. If any of you have any alternatives, let me know. We will move eventually but not while we are both in school. That's just too much work and no time to get it done. Last night was the combined young women, young men activity. We did a murder mystery dinner. It turned out pretty well, I think. I couldn't have done it without the amazing young men who helped set up tables, my two fabulous and oh-so-beautiful counselors, and a sister in our ward who is always serving. I really hope that I am as willing to serve as she is. We did a scripture murder mystery. I'm just hoping that if they decide they want to do it again next year, there is another scripture murder mystery already put together because I don't want to have to try to make up one. This one was so nice because it was already set up. Oh, I'm trying to think of Christmas gifts for the young women. We have a limited budget, so it can't be to steep. Does anyone have any ideas?
Other big news. This affects our future. I hope Aaron doesn't mind me posting it already, but he was excited and I'm excited too. Aaron has been traveling all over the country for summer internship interviews. Two days ago, we received an offer in Milwaukee! Yeah!!. He hasn't accepted it yet and doesn't have to until December. However, no matter what else happens, we know that we have a job for next summer. His current employer is also willing to employ him as well. So there is that choice too. So I guess it depends on where we want to live after graduation. The weird thing is, although I don't want to raise kids out here, I wouldn't mind staying for a few more years either. Don't tell Aaron I said that. I just hate leaving friends we've made. I love our ward and I wish we could take the people with us wherever we go. Anyway, we might end up in Wisconsin with all the cheese we can eat. Yippee!! It's nice that we have at least one place that wants us.

Wisconsin, eh? That's awesome. Isn't it such a comfort to know that you have someplace to go?
But...that said...you can't leave DC forever before we get a chance to come down and see you!! :)
You'd be closer and that isn't such a bad thing-right? Good luck with all your internship stuff.
