I’ve known for about three months that I’d be taking this leap but now it’s time to tell everyone! I’m joining the ranks of the 19 rumored expectant mothers. I say rumored because in my small knowledge of our ward, I can only count 12. (I’m in primary, ‘nough said.)
That’s right, you heard correctly. We are expecting #2!! Ah the questions you might have:
Who?: Well, Me... and Aaron by proxy.
What?: A baby! Just one. No multiples here. Gender yet to be discovered.
How?: Well when two people love each other very much, they close their eyes and make a wish. (Scrubs reference)
When?: Little baby is due the end of September (one day before my birthday to be exact)
Where?: I’m 100% sure this baby will come wherever I am at the moment of delivery.
Why?: Eli get’s harder to cuddle everyday, we like the thought of free labor that will come when a child grows, and we just plain want another one ;)

This pregnancy differs from Eli’s in: I haven’t thrown up as much (I’m just as nauseous though), I get headaches with this baby (new for me), and I'm hoping the sickness will let up soon so I can restart my exercise program. I’m hoping not to get GD this pregnancy, BUT hopefully if I do get it again, I won't be so paranoid about it.
The worst thing about this pregnancy is that I (ME the mom)... taught Eli how to spit. On the few occasions where I have vomited, or thought I would, I haven’t always been able to keep Eli away. So sometimes he is in the bathroom as I'm spitting into the toilet... gross out factor, I'm sorry. He started spitting soon after this. The last time I thought I was going to throw up, Eli was there and actually spit in my hair (he was trying to get it into the toilet of course, but my head being in the way...). So, I’m sorry if my son grosses you out with his spitting. Hopefully it will stop when my morning sickness stops. If not, he didn’t learn it from Aaron :(.
Aaron and Eli have been VERY tolerant of me. Eating frozen meals, not getting to play outside as often, and dealing with a disaster zone of an apartment.
I don’t think Eli REALLY knows what’s going on, but last weekend I asked what he wanted to do the next day. He said, “Da da do baby.” (I didn’t catch ANY of the first part)
Me: “You want to see the baby?”
Eli: “Baby”
Me: “We only get to see the baby when I go to the doctor’s.”
Eli: “Baby broken?” (I guess he’s somehow correctly ascertained that we go to a doctor when we are “broken”. I don’t remember teaching him that.)
Me: “No, the baby’s not broken. It’s being put together. When it’s done being put together, then it will come out. Just like you did.”
Too cute! WE are most definitely excited and feel HUGELY blessed by Heavenly Father!

That's wonderful Carrie!
So excited for you! Hooray!
Congrats! I can't wait to find out what you are having! So exciting!!!!
congrats again! So exciting! Eli is so cute and will make a great big brother:)
Eli is so cute! Good thing you've corrected everyone on who he ACTUALLY learned the spitting from. Or else everyone would've been blaming Aaron, poor guy. Way to stick up for you man. I would've let Garrett take the fall anyway.
Congratulations, Carrie! What exciting, happy news!
Oh. My. Goodness!!! So super excited for you guys :). Congratulations and I'm sending you my love!
Carrie, I'm so happy for you! Congratulations! How fun to have a potential birthday baby. Alex was due on my birthday but came 9 days earlier. It worked beautifully because our dates are opposite (Alex Oct. 12 and me Oct. 21) which makes remembering much easier for Will. I don't think that will quite work for the end of September though...there isn't a Sept. 92! (Sorry if I remember your birthday wrong) Love ya!
Yeah!! Jump on the bandwagon! This is for sure great news...and we're glad you're not as sick as you were last time. Congratulations!!
Congratulations! Good luck with all of it. We hope all goes well. Double the trouble, double the fun.
We are so excited for your new addition!
