Dreaming permits each and every one of us to be quietly and safely insane every night of our lives.
-William Dement
I firmly believe this is true. My sisters can tell you that I often have insanity in my dreams. They've contained dinosaurs, boxers, chips ahoy cookies, medieval death tactics, angry outbursts at family members, others telling me I had committed sins before I knew I had done them, and many more.
I'm also not one to easily put aside emotions and Aaron has suffered from offenses he's committed in my dreams.
Well, the latest insanity I've dreamed of is that I had signed a contract to start work the same time Aaron started his job in Palo Alto. Frantically I tried to figure out WHY I had made such a promise, knowing I couldn't back down and I didn't want to work. I was sad that I couldn't stay home with Eli and wondered HOW and WHO I was going to find to care for my little goose. I was also stressed that I was going to sleep through my first day of training (which was going to start at 1 am). When I woke up I thought I had slept in!
Needless to say that after realizing that I did not have to work and that I had not slept in, I was extremely relieved! Some dreams I would love to come true (who wouldn't want to wake up with their favorite dessert waiting to be savored?). Most of the time though, it's wonderful to know that my real life is better than any dream I've had yet.

I'm glad you don't have to go to work. What a relief eh? You just reminded me of my most favorite dream. I family and friend reunion on the grassy green hillside. We had a fun, crazy laughing skittles war. There were skittles flying everywhere and everyone (even you and Aaron) were running and laughing throwing skittles at all our relatives. Maybe someday in Heaven we can organize such an event. Until then it will be the stuff of dreams.
Dreams are crazy. That sounds like a stressful one, what a relief it was only a dream:)
We are excited to see you and Eli in about a week. I hope the drive goes as good as it can for you. You are SO Brave!!
I had a dream a couple months ago that I made out with my hollywood crush. I felt so bad about it that when I woke up I told Tim :). He just laughed at me! However...the other day I woke up and I was annoyed with Tim, but I couldn't figure out why. He hadn't done anything, but I couldn't get rid of the annoyed feeling. I'm sure I dreamed something and woke up mad! It's funny how we do that!
