This morning, at 7am, I sleepily rolled over and turned off the alarm clock. Taking my sweet time summoning up energy to get up and at 'em I noticed that I didn't hear little coos and squabbling from Eli's room. We don't know how early Eli wakes up, BUT he's usually talking to himself by teh time we are up. Anyway, I took advantage of this time and checked e-mail, did cross-word puzzles, etc. Usually he wakes up the moment he hears me or Aaron so I figured he'd be up soon. 7:45 rolls around, Aaron is up and Eli is still not making a sound.
So we go check on him to make sure he's not just lounging around AND that he's still breathing.
Sound asleep.
I guess it's just one of those lucky mornings.
I can't find my camera to computer cord so here's a little bit of Eli's past.

Oh! Look at that sweet, cute, little innocent boy! What ever happened to him? JK. He's still innocent, sweet, and cute, he just has a whole lot of mischief in him! I guess that is what happens when you have mischievous grandpas.
I have to laugh since I have had similar incidents . . .
I blame it on growth spurts or just plain luck for us! I keep waiting for it to happen again, but nothing so far. Mine are up at 6:30 sharp, and 7 if I am lucky. silly kids.
Eli is a cutie for sure!
I feel kinda lucky...Emmy sleeps until about ten every morning. I bet it was nice to be able to get some things done! I know I have a hard time getting anything done anymore once Emmy is up and at 'em :).
How lucky for you!!! It's hard to believe he was that little once. I am so glad that you guys are coming to Yellowstone after all! It will be so much fun!
Aww that picture is so cute!! We can not wait to see you guys in a few weeks.
