Nursery

Eli's first week in nursery was two weeks ago. Can I say the church has become more spiritual, inspiring, and a whole lot more interesting since? Those speakers really upped their game ;) Really, though, it's been wonderful for ALL of us. Aaron and I have been more relaxed through the meetings and Eli has taken to nursery so well that he, so far, does not want to leave nursery when we pick him up. That's when the tantrums start up again as we carry him crying from the room. So I guess it's not entirely perfect but at least Aaron and I are less frazzled and can deal with him better.

Hallelujah! for nursery. I was just released as the nursery leader 3 months ago and I really miss it. Love those babies!

I am jealous! We have been trying to get Blake to go to nursery for a month and a half now. The first time he did great, but ever since he won't stay in there unless Nathan or I stay with him :(

Is it bad that church can be the most stressful part of my week?

Carrie, I'm so glad that Eli likes nursery. One of my callings is the nursery music leader and I love singing the fun, action filled primary songs with all the children. I'm sure it's wonderful for you and Aaron to enjoy your Sunday School and Priesthood/Relief Society meetings more. Love ya!

I can't believe Eli is already a year and a half, that is so crazy! I am glad he likes it so much that must be such a relief! I think he's going to be a social bug like his parent's, you did good!

Nursery is the best, glad to hear he loves it:) Haylee is getting there, and actually sat down by herself for singing time while I snuck out . . .

Isn't it great?! I don't know how we survived the six months before nursery. There were many times we wanted to go home after sacrament meeting. I enjoyed sunday school like I never have before. Nursery is AMAZING! And I hope the leaders that stay with our "little dears" are blessed beyond measure in heaven. They deserve it!
