One week without furniture was bad enough (I'd cry too Gretchin, if I had to go two weeks). However, the wait has ended (hopefully). Yesterday the movers called to make an appointment to bring our things today! Yes, a bed, a couch, dishes, and cooking supplies! Needless to say, we are ecstatic!
Yesterday was a bright part in this spot though. A nice lady in the earlier ward than ours sold us a dining set. It is by far the largest we've had (a six seater). It looks great nestled into our dining area though. I'm excited for the rest of the furniture so I can start making this apartment our home.
As the awesome wife I am, I delivered for Aaron. Sad that he could not find a place to watch the BYU game, I mentioned what a fan he is to the ward member who brought the table. It so happened that he was also looking for a place to watch the game and that he would call if he found a place. Yep, at about 6:30 Aaron got a call with an invite to watch the game. Did I deliver or what?!
Finally, our apartment has an alarm system which we are supposed to use. Unfortunately our alarm system decided to break down on us. Last night it started goign off every 20 seconds. It wasn't working right, which (as long as it wasn't actually calling the police) was fine with us. We couldn't figure out how to stop the noise though. So I hung Aaron's shirt over it to try and muffle the noise for the night. Luckily it stopped. I hate alarm systems.

I'm so glad you guys are going to be getting settled soon! Moving is not fun! I've never had to move out of state, so I can only imagine! But, I'm sure you guys will be making a ton of friends in no time, and you'll be one of the strongest families in your ward! Good Luck!
I'm glad you are finally getting your furniture! I'm sorry about the alarm that would suck so bad! You guys have had a rough week, and BYU stunk on top of it all, horrible day!!!
