Blogger Debut

For the very first time (okay second) Eli Nelson makes his debut on Blogger! Who do you have to thank for this? Mommy for her time for uploading and altering pictures as necessary during her crazy week trying to learn how to be a mom. Daddy for holding baby while Mommy posts this blog, Eli for sleeping so well, Grandma for helping so mommy could have time to do this AND Aunt Lynsie and Brittany for making it publically known that they can't wait any longer for more pics.

Due to technical inadequacies both in installing a new program and not being more adept at Blogger, video feed of Eli's first moments have been omitted from this blog. So it is with great pleasure and parental bias that Carrie and Aaron present these photos of Eli for your admiration. Comments of ooohs and aaaahs will be greatly appreciated as well as any of those "he's the cutest baby I've ever seen" from those people who don't have a cutest baby in the world (because as parents our own babies are the cutest).

A few moments after Eli entered this world. The nurse had to push him back in until the doctor got there. The cord was wrapped around his neck twice!! We are so grateful our prayers were answered for a healthy delivery.

First real outfit Mommy put him in for his pediatrician appointment. He's less than a week old and he's already regained all his weight back and more... 8 lbs!
