I was always worried that I would be one of those girls who got sick during pregnancy, but I never thought it would be this bad! I can't seem to keep anything down. Does anyone have any ideas that helped them, or am I just going to have to wait it out?
JUST KIDDING!!!! I'm not pregnant, although I wouldn't be completely adverse to that situation at this point (except for being in the middle of my internship). I'm sorry to get you all worked up like that and I realize that it's a form of crying wolf that will probably make you all unlikely to believe me when I really am pregnant, but I had to do something to make this entry exciting. Our week has been pretty uneventful.
So I have one more week of my internship and 5 papers to finish in that time. Can we all say procrastination? It's hard when your work and school are basically the same. It's an overload of one topic and I don't think it makes for a very productive me. I don't like that there aren't really any guidelines to these papers either. How long are they usually? I don't know! So, I get to guess and hope that it all comes out right. Then I still have to read and take my quizzes. Whew! Am I the only one who wishes that time could fly by and all my stuff would magically get done by me but without my feeling the stress of it or even remembering doing it?
Oh, Aaron and I got assigned to speak in church on, guess what topic, the Law of Health. Well, at this point I'm in the mode of group lessons on diabetes and weight management; so I warned them that I might just get up there and start ranting. Anyway, it's going to be a challenge, but a fun one.
Aaron finished his internship this week and he got a part time job with a patent firm for the school year. He's excited because he will get some experience in the field he wants to go into. So we are both happy for that. My next rotation was supposed to be at the children's hospital, but the lady I was applying through stopped working there so I had to start over again. Let's hope that it turns out all right and that I can still do it there. Otherwise I'll be up a very swift creek with a flimsy paddle. (I hope you liked my visualization).
Anyway, that's us. Snoring boring this week. Hopefully, in the few weeks well have another peak to report on. Hmm where will it be? Delaware? Virginia? New Jersey? Who knows!

Silly girl...don't tease us! :) But your teasing definitely makes me wonder...you sound anxious for a little Stonehocker. :)
Oh blah, not nice! I was building up my typical "Ohmigosh! that'ssocool! whenareyoudue?!" excitement and then wham! The truth comes out.
You're right, I'm not gonna believe you when the real news comes...I'll still be in a huff over this day of crushed excitement.
^_^
OK maybe I won't.
But you remember our old roomate Erin? She's expecting again! (I'm serious...I, unlike some people who shall remain nameless, would never play such a trick ^_^). Little boy coming in november. Cool eh?
Well, Carrie I have some news for you too. It could be a new nephew or a niece I just don't know......................just kidding! We should be getting Health Insurance soon and then we can get back into the game.
WE missed you on our little trip to Yellowstone, and hope to see you soon.
I am glad your hubby is back, it is hard to have them away-I know.
I am so happy you have a couch to sit on, you guys deserve it!! It looks adorable and very cozy for you two to cuddle on.
Hopefuly we can join the couch club in a while-the futon is just not the same as a soft cushioned sofa, but it is a place to sit so I can't complain.
We love you and good luck on your internship papers-that sound tough!
