Fall Festivities

I love, love LOVE fall!  Now if I was only more on top of my life, I might get to actually plan and decorate in fun and festive ways.  Unfortunately I feel like I haven't been on top of my life since having kids.  However, we did do some fun October activities.

We went to a pumpkin patch with our good friends: Erin (the mom), Josh and Makenzie.  Poor Anna was NOT in a good mood.  She was crying in half the pictures.

We also had a grand time at our ward Halloween party!  Great games including pumpkin bowling, a pumpkin walk and donuts on a string along with a dinner (anyone had root beer that looked like water before?) and a trunk-or-treat made for a night never to be forgotten.  The kids were uncannily good-natured, but even so, I was pretty pooped when we were home for the evening.

Our queen bee.  She hasn't used a binkie in months.  She found it and I thought, if it keeps her happy at the party, I'm A-okay with that.

Other fun/funny things in our lives are:

Anna LOVES Eli's bike helmet and will wear it often.  She's also VERY adept at handling a crayon for her age (or at least I think so- Eli is still not much of a crayon artist so I may have a weighted measure to compare her to).  Eli is as handsome as ever, super clever (I REALLY need to remember to write down what he says), and is always excited for school.
