Nike Plus Woes

So Aaron got me Nike Plus for my birthday. I was so excited 'cause I figured this would allow me to run more freely anytime during the day with Eli, and still know how far I've gone and how fast. (something I'm a little obsessed with knowing exact numbers of).

In order to get this whole thing started you have to calibrate the sensor. I've been trying to do this for a few days. Apparently there is supposed to be an option at the end of your workout to adjust the calibration in order to increase the accuracy. I have NOT yet seen this option and it's driving me crazy. Aaron said it took several attempts before he was given that option and I'm going mad after four or five attempts with no luck. WHAT'S the deal?!!! You'd think they would make it more standard in that an option would be given after every attempt. Then again, maybe it's just user error. Ugh! I guess it's okay that we don't have a jogging stroller at the moment.

Good Luck! I would've thrown it away by now out of frustration!

I'm not quite sure what a Nike Plus is...and that could possibly be because I have absolutely no desire to go running...but it sounds like a pretty tricky thing and I would be very angry at it! Dumb electronic device that is somehow smarter than you! Ugh! I hope you figure it out soon so that you can start enjoying your birthday present! :)

That is so cool that you have one now!! I haven't heard of that option so who knows if my 27.50 min 5k was accurate??
I'll have to check it out. All I can say is jogging strollers work the ARMS big time. I've only tried a few times for a few minutes, but my arms are flexed the whole time:)
Just think if we get the whole family jogging we can all run a 5k together someday. LOL.
