Errant Tooth

So Eli is getting a tooth towards the back. The poor kid is cranky and not enjoying it much. Every time I tried putting orajel on his gums I would miss the tooth. I thought this was weird and I didn't see why until just this morning when Eli actually complied and opened his mouth to let me look. His poor tooth looks like it's coming in out the side instead of down!! Of course it's too early to tell for sure, but it's definitely going to be crooked.

I HATED braces and if his teeth continue to come in like this and his permanent teeth don't come in any better, I'm heart broken to think of the pain this kid is going to go through. Does anyone else's children have errant teeth?

Even though Alex has a few months I'm guessing before he starts teething, I'm praying that he inherited his daddy's mouth since mine would warrant super expensive and extensive orthodontics down the road. I'm sorry for your little one, but I bet his smile is still adorable!

Speaking from the point of a dental hygienist...(smile), its actually becoming quite common for childrens teeth to come in not so straight and very crowded! Our mouth are just getting smaller and smaller. You should see some of the poor little kids that come into my office! I feel so bad for them! So, just as a heads up...you guys might want to start to save now for braces :). Poor kid though...I feel bad for him.

Elise's were perfect--but Haylee, well you will have to see her front teeth and the teeth on the side of those . . . poor girl. I am hoping it will even out, but very different from Elise's teeth.

I am not as worried these days, what will be will be:)

Sorry little Eli. It's not easy getting that orajel on, trick stuff.

You should fly out for the Eclipse Event next year...and there might even be an event out there where you live:)

Isn't that so sad to see? Grace's bottom teeth are so crooked we have to be careful to brush cause she gets food stuck in between so badly. Reese's only two adult teeth that have come in have done so behind the ones they're supposed to replace. It was so sad when I first noticed it! I hate dentists/orthodontists cause mine were so bad, and I have such empathy for what's coming to them.
Sorry Eli!
