My Frustration Heap

Aaron, wonderful man that he is, has to deal with me. His enigmatic wife whose frustrations are often hard to put into words. Why, because they eminate from my "frustration heap" as Aaron has named it. A pile of frustration that has built up over time and when it finally overflows I don't know which frustration I'm really upset about. Maybe little pieces of all of them. What makes up my frustration heap? Here's a few tidbits...

  • No computer/ internet at home and I forget to write things down to google later and then not feeling like I get my fair turn at Aaron's lap top when he comes home.
  • Eli not taking two naps all the time. I NEED to study.
  • Our ever untidy home that is BEGGING to be cleaned but I can't seem to justify any large cleaning spree until after my exam is taken.
  • Our hope to freeze cookies so we don't eat them all at once and then 13 hours later finding a once full bag nearly empty!! Why do we freeze them at all?
  • Not getting as much exercise as I would like
  • Even though I could use the weight, I feel guilty about every fattening thing I eat (because I do eat a lot of junk food and know I should eat healthier).
I know, silly things, but when they all add up, it makes for a very hard morning for Aaron as he tries to coax out of me why I'm so upset. Me, I'm trying to figure out what words match my feelings knowing there is really nothing he's done that day to warrant my being so crabby. Oh my frustration heap, I guess as long as we know it exists we can find ways to either organize it or work around it right? Sorry, Aaron. I love you and thanks for being so patient with me.

Well you look Great for consuming so much Junk Food!! I am one to get frustrated over many things too. Maybe it is a woman thing? Hope you can get some study time in. I can't even imagine studying with a baby.

I know what you mean...we have the same problem with the cookie thing! One solution I found is to freeze the cookie dough...perhaps not as easy to just sneak out of the freezer :) Hope things start looking up a little more!
