Eli is always doing something funny like finding the shirt Daddy left on the floor and rolling himself up into it. Well, today was the rice cereal raspberry.
Feeding time started off well. I got the rice cereal made and the applesauce ready to be dished out. Well on the second spoonfull the rice cereal was out of his mouth. Not in the sense of Eli not quite getting the tongue manipulation right so it ends up all over his chin. Oh no, this out was a full on sputter as Eli decided a raspberry blow was in order. Thinking it was a one time thing, I cleaned his chin and tried again. Sputter... direct hit on Mommy. It's too bad that I was too busy laughing so I'm sure my "no" was completely useless. A few spoonfuls later, I was done and decided I was not going to even try the applesauce. Hopefully this is not going to be a regular thing BUT I'll admit it offered some much needed giggles!
I was trying to block the sputter of rice cereal and it ended up going up his nose. That really took him by surprise!

These days I think Haylee eats more than Elise...seriously.
I hope that when I have a baby, and Mike is feeding them solids some day that they'll spit it on him. Ha...that would be funny. He's adorable and I can't wait to see you all on Sunday!
