Many of you with younger siblings know that there are good times and there are bad times. Me, I've been nurturing a greater appreciation for my siblings since I moved away from home my first year of college over five years ago. Well, Something that has always made me wonder is how siblings who are born very far apart, can create that bond. I was twelve years old when my youngest brother was born and I was worried if there would ever be anything we could bond over. I tell you, blessings come in mysterious ways.
When Aaron and I decided to move to Maryland, I was home looking at movies my family had just inherited from my grandma. In the stack was a movie I absolutely adore "Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken". Wen I asked if I could take the movie, Joel (my brother) said I could only if I took the movie "Benji" with it. Well I said yes and then "conveniently" forgot Benji. Well not a month later, Joel had sent it to me letting me know that this was not acceptable! That started a little gag-gift war! I mention this because I got my most recent gift in the mail yesterday. My very own song from my brother. It was cute, funny, and very well thought of. I'm so glad I have that bond with him. Hee hee.
...and We're Back!

That is really cute Carrie. It is good to have those bonds.
Carrie- That is funny that you got that movie from Grandma A's collection because I got it from Grandma M's collection when I went down to Phoenix for Grandpa's funeral. I also got my next treasured movie Calamity Jane!
Ha! I always loved Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken too. It drove my brothers nuts!
