If you didn't think my life couldn't get any fuller than it was, just wait! No, I'm referring to the wonderful time Aaron and I had at the Folklife Festival at the national mall. We had gone a for a little while on the 4th but we had
other plans for the evening and so didn't stay for very long. So we went back yesterday and really enjoyed ourselves. The first thing we did was participate in some wonderful "norn iron" dancing. Now for you who know Aaron, his participation was a true sign of affection for me. I'm the luckiest girl ever!! After that fun filled beginning, we went and looked at the other booths for Northern Ireland. It was really neat! They had all sorts of stuff. They were painting banners and such. I also liked the pig basket they had woven. We also got to see some amazing drummers.

After Northern Ireland, we made our way to the Mekong section where they had some neat stuff too. They had a puppet show which Aaron and I loved because it reminded us of the movie To Live (A foreign film that takes place in China).
Finally we made our way over to the Virginia Roots exhibits because on the 4th I had seen the most beautiful rocking horses ever! Wouldn't you just never let any
child play on it for fear of it being ruined? Anyway, overall we had a fabulous day.
